Part-Time Business Development Manager – Freelance / Remote – £20/hour Uncapped Commission

Work alongside an ambitious founder to grow a recruitment startup from scratch.

We're launching a freelance recruitment service focused on permanent hires for office-based roles in London (hybrid and onsite). We're now hiring a hands-on Part-Time Business Development Manager to generate new business from scratch and bring in vacancies for our delivery team to work on.

You’ll focus purely on client acquisition – no candidate delivery or account admin – and you’ll have the autonomy to develop your own niche or focus area within corporate support and professional services.

The Role
  • Hours: 16 hours per week (flexible - choose your own working pattern)
  • Pay: £20 per hour 10% commission on all fees invoiced (uncapped)
  • Location: Remote (UK-based)
  • Type: Freelance/Part-time

You will:

  • Generate new client leads and pitch our freelance recruitment solution
  • Build your own desk from scratch – no CRM, no leads, no legacy clients
  • Book meetings, negotiate terms, and bring in live vacancies for our team to work on
  • Work independently and manage the full client journey – excluding candidate delivery
  • Focus on roles such as Admin, HR, Finance, Marketing, IT, Sales, Legal, Customer Service, and Graduates

Who We’re Looking For

This is ideal for someone who:

  • Has new business sales experience in B2B
  • Is confident pitching recruitment services to businesses and closing deals
  • Has strong knowledge of the London market
  • Is money-motivated, resourceful, and hungry to succeed in a startup environment
  • Can hit the ground running with no systems, CRMs, or lead lists
  • Owns their own laptop, phone, and internet connection

Experience in new B2B sales is highly preferred, but we’re also open to people with transferable sales experience.
