Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activitiesConstruct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servingsPlan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortagesBe fully in charge of hiring, managing and training kitchen staffMaintain records of payroll and attendanceComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standardsFoster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers

Requirements

Proven experience as Head Chef in a French / Mediterranean RestaurantExceptional proven ability of kitchen managementAbility in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progressUp to date with culinary trends and optimised kitchen processesCredentials in health and safety training
