Secondary Teaching Assistant - Crewe
Are you a recent English Graduate looking for experience within a mainstream secondary school?
Teaching Personnel are currently working with partner schools across Stoke-on-Trent, Congleton and Macclesfield, looking for English graduates to support within the department as a Teaching Assistant. The schools are in excellent locations with great transport links.
The candidate will be passionate about the subject and be confident working 1-1 with pupils or with smaller groups who require additional support with English. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build their confidence within a mainstream secondary school or aspiring teachers.
About the role:
- Full-time position
- Immediate start after registration with Teaching Personnel
- Opportunity to from £85 per day (dependent on experience)
Requirements:
- Will be required to utilise your strong knowledge of English to support the learning of pupils
- Previous experience working with young pupils is desirable for this role but not essential
- Safeguarding training (can be completed through Teaching Personnel)
- At least 2 references covering the last 24 months of employment
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.
