Trainee Green Estate Supervisor - City of London
This is a permanent, full-time position based from our Beddington Lane depot in Croydon, South London.
The duties of the Trainee Green Estate Supervisor role will include:
- Supervising the cyclical activities such as grass cutting, hedge cutting, weed control, shrub and planted area maintenance, annual tree & shrub surveys, tree planting as well as any arb/hort reactive works
- Ensuring that the Core Services Manager, Planner and client are kept up to date and informed of all matters relating to the delivery of the contract
- Assisting in the application and management of the permitting process on TfL/Borough roads and liaising with stakeholders
- Overseeing the programme management of the green estate core service works
-Supervising various sub-contractors carrying out work on behalf of FM Conway, providing task instructions, monitoring performance and reconciling accounts
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for a Trainee Green Estate Supervisor with strong communication skills and a passion for horticulture and arboriculture. You will hold a full UK driving license and ideally hold a degree in Construction Management or have industry based experience.To set you up for success in your role we will provide full, comprehensive training.
