Job Title: 1:1 Tutor
Location: East Midlands, Northamptonshire, NorthamptonSalary: £25.00 - £30.00 per hour
Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Provide personalised one-on-one tutoring sessions to students
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans based on the individual needs of each student
- Assist students in understanding and mastering academic concepts
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Keep accurate records of student attendance and performance
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in Education or a related field
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching
Knowledge and Skills:
- Deep understanding of educational principles and best practises
- Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet the specific needs of each student
- Proficiency in using educational technology and resources
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education or a related field
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
