Salary: £28,046 - £32,010

Hours: 36 per week

Week 1 - 7am – 3pm (48-minute break)

Week 2 - 1pm – 9pm (48-minute break)

Driving Licence Essential

We are looking for a Facilities Technician Supervisor to join the team to cover several buildings around Carrick Knowe, Corstorphine and Pilton areas.

Shifts will be pro rata consisting of week 1 and week 2 therefore, the successful candidate will need to be flexible in their working hours.

The successful candidate will have a number of buildings allocated to them and be responsible for managing a number of Janitorial Staff within the area.

Experience - Staff Supervision is essential for this position. Experience of auditing, providing a good customer service and problem solving would be preferred.

Experience in IT equipment and software packages is also essential.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.

You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
