Warehouse Operative

Working Hours: 9am-6pm

Job Description:

This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and Packing: Accurately picking products from stock and packing them according to customer specifications.
• Order Fulfilment: Ensuring all items are packed and labelled correctly and are ready for timely shipment.
• Quality Control: Checking products for any damage or defects before packing and ensuring packaging meets quality standards.
• Stock Management: Assisting with the organisation of warehouse stock, keeping inventory accurate, and reporting any discrepancies.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhering to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and using equipment correctly.
• Team Collaboration: Working as part of a team to ensure warehouse targets are met.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and move heavy items and stand for long periods.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in packing orders and maintaining quality standards.
• Teamwork: Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Time Management Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic Computer Skills: Some experience with inventory systems and scanners is beneficial, though not essential as training will be provided.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or packing environment.
• A proactive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic.
