The Company
An established, Chartered Insurance Broker with an excellent reputation for delivering exceptional client service. They are seeking an experienced Development Account Executive to retain and grow an existing portfolio while driving new business across Scotland.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and client-focused insurance professional to join a forward-thinking company that values growth and relationship-building.

The Role

This role is pivotal in managing, retaining, and expanding a portfolio of commercial insurance clients while generating new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Retain and develop an existing book of business within the commercial insurance market.
Identify and secure new business opportunities by performing detailed fact-finds and understanding client needs.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, acting as their key point of contact for all insurance requirements.
Collaborate closely with a dedicated Account Handler team to ensure seamless service delivery.
Achieve new business growth targets through proactive networking and relationship-building.

Maintain a professional and consultative approach in all client interactions.

The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience as an Insurance Account Executive with a focus on new business development and client retention.
Strong knowledge of the commercial insurance market and products.
Excellent influencing, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Adaptable, proactive, and client-focused approach to relationship management.
Skilled in face-to-face client relationship building, with a track record of delivering exceptional service.

Commitment to staying up to date with industry developments and regulatory changes.
