The role:

A Leading Government Organisation is seeking a Business Intelligence Business Analyst, to document business requirements for reports, dashboards and analytical and predictive models, to allow users to interact with data.

This is an initial 6-month contract, Inside IR35.

Experience & Responsibilities requirements:

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, specifically within Business Intelligence
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with the underlying data warehouse architecture and design principles
• Analyse and record business requirements, prioritising requests and translating them into requirement specifications for delivery teams.
• Collaborate with the data modeling and engineering teams to improve and expand the foundational dimensional data models for the enterprise data warehouse project, ensuring high performance, data accuracy, and scalability.
• Expertise in data analysis and business intelligence
• Provide best practice guidance on visualizing data and designing interactive dashboards
• Familiarity with and practical experience using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), with a preference for experience in data integration tools
