The Supply Service are recruiting for a Residential Childcare Support Worker on behalf of a client based in Stoke-on-Trent.

Shift pattern of 2on/4off

Additional sleep-in rate

Full specialist training, support and continued personal development is available

Responsibilities include:

Creating a positive environment & atmosphere to accommodate the needs of the young person
Providing appropriate care and support as identified in the young person’s placement plan

Providing support & preparation towards independence for young people

Support & Guidance to young people by removing barriers to learning in order to promote effective participation, enhance individual learning, raise aspirations and achieve their potential.

Successful applicants will be empathetic, have a passion for child centered care and posses positive role model qualities. We provide the highest levels of care to our children and new additions to our team must respect the company ethos. It is essential that you hold a full driving license and are at least 21 years of age for insurance purposes.

A good standard of education is required and applicants must either hold or be prepared to work towards a Diploma / NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children & Young People.
