SEND Teaching Assistant KS2
Are you a KS2 Teaching Assistant in the Wakefield area and looking for the next step in your career? We are working with a primary school in Horbury that are requiring a teaching assistant in their KS2 classes. This is to start as soon as possible and will be required on an ongoing basis.

Primary SEND Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Good working knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
- Have experience of supporting quality learning experiences for pupils and delivering specific intervention small group work
- Follow school policies and procedures with regards to safeguarding and behaviour
- Work with children of mixed abilities including SEND
- The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students
- Showing initiative and asking for direction if needed
Primary Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications or teaching assistant experience in the classroom (for example: CACHE Level 3 Diploma in childcare)
- UK experience as a teaching assistant
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered with the update service or be willing to complete a new DBS
