Job Description- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements
- Provide clear and commercially focused legal advice to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations within the financial services sector.
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise on their impact on the organisation.
- Manage external legal counsel relationships as needed.
- Assist in resolving legal disputes and mitigating potential risks if needed.
- Support the legal department in the development of policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on legal matters.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate should have:
- A qualification as a solicitor in England and Wales.
- 2 - 5 PQE
- Ideally bringing experience with applicable laws and regulations in financial services.
- Proven ability to negotiate and draft complex legal agreements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- A competitive salary in the range of £80,000 to £100,000 per annum depending on experience
