Are you a passionate, fully qualified Nursery Nurse looking to make a difference in young children’s lives? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our nurturing team at a vibrant Primary School Nursery in Bedford. As part of our supportive early years team, you will be responsible for helping children develop key skills, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and supporting their well-being throughout their early years education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 3-5 years old.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development.
- Contribute to assessments and observations of children's progress.
- Work collaboratively with other nursery staff and primary school teachers to deliver a holistic learning experience.
Skills and Experience:
- Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- A passion for working with young children and supporting their learning and development.
- A clear understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A DBS check will be required for this role.
