Part Time Bookkeeper – Full or Part Time
Our well-established accountancy practice client based in Cheltenham is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis.
Whilst previous experience within an accounts practice is essential, finance qualifications are not essential to apply, so long as you have relevant working experience. This role can be offered on a full or part time basis.
Responsibilities- Manage bookkeeping tasks for a group of clients utilising programs such as Hubdoc and Xero.
- VAT return preparation and submission.
- Support with personal tax return preparation.
- Maintain regular communication with customers and clients.
- General administration duties to support the team.
- Scan Process invoices and receipts from Hubdoc to Xero.
- Bank account reconciliations.
- Review client ledgers on Xero.
- Process weekly/monthly payroll records (including pension returns).
- Previous experience in an accountancy practice.
- Computer literate.
- Friendly, team player.
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am – 5pm (Early Finish Friday @ 1:30pm) – some flexibility on start and finish times for the right candidate. Part time hours will also be considered for the right individual.
Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience + study support, with additional benefits such as onsite free parking, early Friday finish, company pension, 25 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays.
