About the Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Operational Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative support to a Grade 6 Head of Team on a part-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities, and takes pride in delivering efficient and professional support within a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Grade 6 Head of Team
- Arrange regular and ad-hoc meetings
- Coordinate virtual and in-person team meetings, including:
- scheduling meetings
- collating agenda items and inputs
- drafting agendas
- capturing and circulating actions and decisions
- following up on outstanding actions
- Manage the Head of Team's inbox and diary
- Arrange travel, accommodation, and logistics for meetings, events, and training
- Process travel amendments, refunds, and re-booking's where required
- Maintain and update corporate information on a quarterly basis
- Support recruitment and on boarding activities
- Raise purchase orders and follow up on invoice
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident managing diaries, meetings, and competing priorities
- Able to work independently and use initiative effectively
- A strong communicator with excellent communication skills
- Experienced in an administrative or business support role
Previous Civil Service experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
