About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 academic support to a Key Stage 2 pupil with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs at a 'GOOD' primary school in Bispham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil, focusing on academic development and personal growth.
- Assist the pupil in managing emotions and behaviors effectively.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individualized support plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Level 2 or higher qualification in Teaching Assistance or equivalent.
- Experience working within a primary school setting.
- Previous experience supporting children with SEMH needs is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
