Job Description
The key responsibilities of a Recruitment Assistant candidate will include, but may not be limited to;- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, and organising interviews.
- Support HR administrative tasks such as personnel files management and HR-related documentation.
- Participate in HR projects, meetings, and training sessions.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities.
- Aid in maintaining HR metrics dashboard and reports.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives.
- Liaise with other departments and external partners as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and UK employment law.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Recruitment Assistant should have:
- A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- A positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in developing a career within HR.
- Ability to commute to Manchester.
