Opportunity

are currently looking for an experienced Director of Programme Management. This is a newly formed role to report directly to our CFOO and help build out a functional PMO and ensure our projects are being managed and delivered on time and with quality throughout all global locations.

Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with start-up/scale-up experience, who is creative and can help build out a scalable project function that delivers and tracks projects throughout our Science, Product, Mechanical Engineering, Commercial and Finance areas.

  • You will manage our current team of project managers and look to grow this area as the business scales.
  • Build out our current PMO function and introduce real-time project reporting/tracking, introducing new tooling.
  • Have the ability to report project updates in real-time to the exec team and board.
  • Effectively manage project budgets and forecast budgets, working closely with our technical, science and finance teams
  • Work with key business partners and project stakeholders to ensure all projects are being tracked, risks are being monitored and deadlines are being met.
  • Have a creative mind and bring in new ideas around our project management process
Skills + experience
  • Experience of working on a start-up/scale-up ideally with deep-tech or within technology.
  • Excellent background in delivering complex projects across multiple business areas.
  • Very strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence key business partners and advice on project/programme delivery moving forward.
  • Experience of working across multiple project methodologies with the ability to adapt when needed.
  • Champion agile across our software and product development teams.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills and experience of managing project managers with different skill-sets.
  • Experience of providing real-time project updates up to C-Suite and Board level.
