• Manage all cost relating to construction projects, from initial calculations to final figures.
• Seek to minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while achieving the required standards and quality.
• Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks.
• Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.
• Allocate work to subcontractors.
• Provide advice on contractual claims.
• Perform risk, value management and cost control.
• Advise on a procurement strategy.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quantity Surveyor should have:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Knowledge of construction industry practices, processes, and standards.
• Proficient in computer software programs related to job responsibilities.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record in a Quantity Surveyor role within the property industry.
