SEMH Teaching Assistant - Bolton - ASAP start
Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant with SEMH experience to work in an alternative provision in Bolton. This position is to start from after October half term or earlier if you are able to start, and will then be ongoing for the remainder of the academic year until July 2025.
This position will be ideal for anyone with experience supporting people with SEMH/EBD experience who is looking to gain some more experience in an educational setting.
You will be working with small groups or perhaps on a 121-basis working with pupils. As well as an expereinced teaching assistant, this role could suit a person who has worked in a capacity involving rehabilitation, EG prison officer, counselllor.
It is essential that you hold a valid driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

Experience, Training and qualifications:
- Experience working with young people with SEMH
- GCSE English and Maths grade C or '4' & above
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)
- Up to date Prevent training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however training can be provided)
- Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however training can be provided)
To be eligible you must have/be:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide a minimum of two references covering the last 2 years
