Job Description
Support Worker (immediate start):
- Providing practical and emotional support to individuals and their families.
- Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Helping individuals to maintain their independence by supporting them with household tasks and shopping.
- Supporting individuals to access community resources and activities.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of care and support provided.
- Working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care is provided.
- Respecting and promoting the rights and wishes of the individuals you support.
- Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Support Worker (immediate start) should have:
- A compassionate and patient nature, with a genuine desire to help others.
- Experience is a similar role
- Full UK driving licence for 2+ years
- Access to your own 5 door car
- Enhanced DBS check
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
- A clean driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous.
- An hourly rate of between £12.30 and £13.00.
