About the Role:
Are you ready to revolutionise Lambeth’s highways and public spaces? As a key player in our team, you will lead the design process for projects ranging from £25k to £5m. Innovate and Design: Lead the charge in creating innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable designs that elevate user experiences.

Project Excellence: Oversee projects commissioned by the Transport Strategy team, ensuring they meet the highest standards and safety regulations.Visionary Communication: Use tools like AutoCAD to develop detailed plans and business cases, clearly communicating your visionary proposals.
Training and Development: Promote a positive team culture, provide essential training on new standards, and ensure seamless project handovers.

As a Senior Highways and Transport Urban Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing highway schemes that address current traffic challenges. Your expertise will help reduce accidents, improve traffic flow, and encourage sustainable transportation modes such as walking and cycling.
