The Role

We are looking for a digitally capable Air Quality and Greenhouse Gas Emissions Consultant to support a range of exciting and innovative projects within our Emissions Inventories team. Our team is in the midst of a digital transformation, and we need someone skilled in Python or R to help us innovate and solve environmental challenges.

Key Responsibilities

As part of our team, you'll handle multiple projects across various areas, with a primary focus on Emissions Inventories and Projections. Your role involves everything from proposal preparation and data analysis to model building, report writing, and client delivery.

Your work quality and timely delivery are crucial, and you'll collaborate with fellow consultants to ensure your input aligns with broader project goals.

Key Competencies and Experience
  • Bachelors in science/mathematics/digital related subject.
  • Experience of data processing and statistical analysis using functional programming languages such as Python or R.
  • A strong interest and awareness of key environmental and climate change policies and issues.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail with an appreciation of QA/QC processes.
  • Strong quantitative skills including interest in and understanding of data analysis.
  • IT skills in commonly used software, e.g., Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
  • Experience working with relational database server technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent English language written and oral skills.
