Site Operative
Location: Northampton
Are you a hardworking, reliable individual with a passion for maintaining clean and safe environments? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated School Site Operative to join our team and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of one of our clients schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- General maintenance and upkeep of school buildings and grounds
- Assisting with site security, including opening and locking up the premises
- Conducting minor repairs and liaising with contractors when needed
- Ensuring the school is clean and safe for students, staff, and visitors
- Supporting with event setups and equipment moving
- Reporting any health and safety concerns
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential)
- Practical skills for basic repairs and maintenance
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and good time management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for children
