Senior Mechanical Designer

• Minimum HNC/HND in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification
• Strong knowledge of CAD tools
• Good knowledge of general engineering drawing practices
• Incorporated engineer status
• Demonstrable experience in leading a multi-discipline design team
• ICF (Integrated Competency Framework) or are working towards

Role information:

• Liaise with new and existing customers and build relationships to promote further business opportunities
• Resolve technical and delivery issues
• Promote co-operation across design teams
• Advise in selecting the appropriate methods and tools necessary for tasks
• Provide technical assistance to design teams
• Contribute to the preparation and production of drawings in support of design
• Ensure ISO standards and time, cost and quality requirements are met
