apartmentSouth Hampstead High School placeLondon calendar_month

Are you a hands-on, hard-working individual with general maintenance skills and a proactive approach to your work? South Hampstead High School is looking for a reliable Caretaker to play a key role in creating a safe and well-maintained school.

This is a hands-on and rewarding role where no two days are the same. Working closely with the Senior School Premises Manager, you will take pride in keeping the site running smoothly, responding to maintenance requests, resolving issues efficiently and coordinating with external contractors when needed.

The working hours are 36 hours (full time) or 26 hours (part time) per week and we offer 30 days’ annual leave.

We are looking for someone with a professional and practical attitude, a willingness to learn new skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. General maintenance / odd jobs' skills are essential to success in this role.

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.

A willingness to be a first aider would be ideal and training will be provided if needed.
