Process purchase orders, invoices, payments, and receipts.
Reconcile bank statements and other key control accounts.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
AAT qualification or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
Experience using accounting software (Xero experience is advantageous).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Role
Our client, a well-established company in Bromsgrove, is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. **Key Responsibilities:**

Provide administrative support to the finance department as required.
**Key Requirements:**
Previous experience in a similar role within an accounts or finance department.AAT qualification or equivalent is preferred but not essential.

Experience using accounting software (Xero experience is advantageous).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
