Care Group Secretary - Apprenticeship Opportunity
Job overview
The post holder will provide an efficient, effective and confidential secretarial and administrative support service including all secretarial and administrative duties to the Care Group Service Managers and Leadership Team. The role will include support with the preparation and collection of data and statistics for service reporting.
If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification [relevant to your role].
As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

Main duties of the job- Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Care Group Service Managers and Leadership Team as appropriate
- Deal with routine correspondence and telephone calls on behalf of the Service Managers
- Diary management for Service Managers including proactive preparation of documents and papers for agreed meetings as directed
- Email management for the Service Managers as required and agreed
- To provide administration support to identified work within the pathway as requested
- Assist the Care Group Service Managers and Leadership Team with the recruitment and selection process; compiling candidate letters, arranging interview dates, ensuring all documentation for successful candidates is received
- Distribute relevant information to internal and external organisations on behalf of the Service Manager
- Prepare and coordinate new staff inductions
- To undertake any duties in line with the Service Manager or service’s requirements as requested.
- Ensuring efficient day to day management of the administration office, including booking meetings, events and meeting rooms.
- Supporting the Service Managers with requests for information.

Qualifications
Essential criteria- English and Maths at level 2 or equivalent (GCSE 9-4 or A*- C or functional skills level 2)
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent in a related subject
- NVQ level 3 in related subject or willingness to undertake a relevant Level 3 Apprenticeship
