About the team:

Working within The Office of the CIO, (Chief Information Officer) IT Commercial and Supplier Relationship Management support IT colleagues with their procurement and subsequent supplier management activities. The team work closely with IT Risk, Reporting and Group Vendor Management to provide contractual, governance and commercial cover for the Bank.

In addition, the team works with a dynamic group of stakeholder to ensure IT aligns with OSB’s Corporate objectives.

What you will be doing:

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting IT colleagues with the management of commercial engagement and ongoing relationships with our suppliers and key stakeholders including Legal and Vendor Management.

You will be supporting the management of the IT contract lifecycle through procurement, the formation, negotiation, approval of a MSA (Master Service Agreement) contracts with appropriate safeguards for OSB Group, through to agreements and termination and exit of contracts.

The role is expected to deliver best practice in the management of suppliers in adherence with OSB Group policy that is driven by external regulatory requirements from a range of sources including the FCA, PRA and EBA who set out the standards for the financial services industry.

Your responsibilities will include…
  • Working with colleagues to deliver the procurement and on-boarding process for products & services and initial contract negotiation phases, engaging with the business where appropriate
  • Management of a number of third party IT application and infrastructure vendor relationships in line with policy and guidelines
  • Providing advice and support negotiation and renegotiation of contracts with vendors
  • Working within the vendor governance framework to ensure OSB have strong, effective contracts in place with key IT suppliers/ providers
  • Working with stakeholders to ensure OSB and the supplier meets their contractual obligations and that appropriate controls and reviews are in place in line with the relevant OSB Group policies
  • Holding our suppliers to account and ensuring they prepare and provide regular reporting / status governance reports
  • Assisting with the planning, and production of documentation for exec level supplier management meetings with OSB and supplier executives
  • Supporting with internal and external audit reviews i.e. project documentation, sign offs, contracts, security questionnaires, plans etc are available and accurate
  • Stakeholder management of both internal and external colleagues; these include Programme Management, Architecture, Vendor Management, IT Service Delivery, IT Development and IT Security

In return for your commitment:

We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £50,000 - £60,000 and a competitive benefits package including:
