Hays Education are working with a secondary school located in Huddersfield. The school caters to students aged between 11-16.
They are looking for a full-time qualified Maths Teacher to teach across Key Stage 3 and 4.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that cover the curriculum. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of the department and participate in extracurricular activities.
Job Description- Delivering engaging and creative Maths lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
- Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
- Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Maths or related field
- Recent experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
