Your Role
We are looking for a Specialist Teacher of Children and Young People with Vision Impairment to join our team.
About You
We require an enthusiastic, dedicated and dynamic Teacher of Children and Young people with Vision Impairment (TVI) who has a passion for improving the lives and outcomes for children and young people who have vision impairment, from as soon as possible after April 2025: a September start would be positively considered.
We are ideally seeking someone who has already completed their mandatory training as a TVI and has some experience, or is currently on the mandatory training course.
We are particularly interested in receiving applications from TVIs who have secondary mainstream and/or post 16 experience, also from those who have experience working with children and young people who have additional complex needs, although this is desirable rather than essential.
About Us
The successful applicant would be joining a stable and well-established, warm, friendly and successful team with close support and guidance from both colleagues and the Team Leader who is a qualified and experienced Qualified TVI.
IMPORTANT : Please read the job profile on the link below before applying as applications from candidates who have no experience of working with children with vision impairment are unlikely to be considered.
