Job Description:
We are seeking a strategic and motivated Sales Enablement Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be working with the Managing Director of our Private Client business in supporting them achieve their growth targets. This role requires a process-driven individual who will be instrumental in supporting the implementation of strategies set by the Managing Director.We are looking for a high performer with the track record to demonstrate this.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence across all sales processes. Operational excellence in this role involves streamlining and enhancing sales processes to eliminate inefficiencies, enhancing conversions, the quality of our accounts, and ensuring a high level of consistency and quality in sales deliverables.
This role also includes a keen focus on key income drivers, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and fostering a high-performance sales culture. The Sales Enablement Director will play a pivotal role in our businesses success, enhancing our sales team's skills and capabilities, and ensuring our growth objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Managing Director to understand and support the strategic direction of the company.
- Drive operational excellence across all sales processes to maximise conversions, margins, efficiency, productivity, and retention.
- Analyse and implement effective sales processes and strategies that align with our objectives.
- Identify and manage key income drivers to ensure consistent revenue growth.
- Train and coach, the sales teams to enhance their skills and improve their performance.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate our value proposition to clients.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and to identify new opportunities.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture through the implementation of effective motivation and recognition strategies.
- Liaise with other departments such as Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Service to ensure alignment of strategies and to facilitate income growth.
- Proven Experience: A substantial background as a Sales Enablement Director or similar role.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, as well as to interact effectively with all levels of management.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required, as the Sales Enablement Director will be interacting with various stakeholders, including the sales team, customers, and senior management.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse sales data and trends, and use this information to drive sales strategies and initiatives.
- Knowledge of Sales Techniques: Deep understanding of sales techniques and methodologies, as well as the sales process.
- Training and Coaching: Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring sales teams, and developing training materials and programmes.
- Knowledge of CRM Systems: Familiarity with CRM systems, as these are often used to track sales and customer interactions.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop strategic sales enablement plans that align with the company's goals
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of our products and services, and the ability to explain complex concepts in a way that's easy to understand.
- Customer-Focused: A customer-centric approach, with the ability to understand and anticipate customer needs.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the industry, including key trends & challenges,
