**Job title: Speech and Language Therapist****Location: Oak Tree School and associated children’s homes – South West**
**Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am - 4.30pm Mon-Fri**
**Contract: Permanent, Term Time only, 41 weeks (There may be scope for this
role to be a full-time contract (52 weeks) if this is your preference, pleaseget in touch to discuss.)**
**Salary: Up to £50,056 FTE, dependent on experience**
**Actual salary up to £44,857 dependent on experience.**
**Essential: Full valid UK driving and access to own vehicle**
**About the role**

We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our developing in-house Clinical Team, this includes occupational therapy, psychotherapy and
therapy assistants. You will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans
for the children we support.
You will be responsible for holding a speech and language therapy caseload andwith the full support of our knowledgeable Clinical Team, you will also
contribute to staff training and consultation. Both a challenging and
rewarding role, this position would suit a resilient and enthusiastic
individual, with a creative therapeutic approach and the ability to make
decisions, as well as manage their own workload. In addition, you will provide
information and training to staff, commissioners and other agencies as
required.

**Essential Criteria:**- BSc or Masters in Speech and Language Therapy
- Registered with the HCPC and RCSLT
- Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience of working with children, young people and adults who have an intellectual disability andor autism with additional needs (e.g. complex trauma, mental health needs, behaviours of concern)
- Experience of working within school environments
- Full valid UK driving and access to own vehicle
