Role Responsibilities:- Support the social, emotional, and mental health needs of students, helping them thrive in their school environment.
- Assist pupils in their academic studies, providing a crucial helping hand in the classroom.
- Stay calm under pressure and respond effectively to challenging situations.
- Be comfortable managing difficult or physical behaviour in a professional manner.
- Offer a reliable, friendly presence for both students and staff, contributing positively to the school community.
- Experience as a teaching assistant (preferred but not essential-if you have a can-do attitude, we want to hear from you!).
- A background in social care or experience working with young people.
- A strong desire to work with students with SEMH and challenging behaviours.
