Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), the role includes:
- Compliance Monitoring & Risk Assessment:
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Policy Development & Training:
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Advisory Role:
- Incident Management:
Investigating compliance breaches and swiftly implementing corrective measures.
Qualifications & SkillsThe ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple responsibilities. Experience in a compliance role is advantageous but not essential. Key qualifications include:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain regulatory requirements clearly.
- High level of integrity and excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with legal software and compliance tools is beneficial.
- Prior experience in a compliance role, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment (preferred but not required).
- Understanding of AML regulations, data protection laws, and legal ethics (preferred but not required).
