An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Accountant to join a well-established company in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Having come about due to company growth, this role will work on a shared portfolio of varied clients, completing all accounts preparation, bookkeeping, and tax work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse a portfolio of local clients, ensuring excellent service delivery and building strong client relationships.
• Be responsible for preparing clients year ned accounts, quarterly VAT returns, and corporation tax.
• Provide expert advice on accounting, taxation, and financial matters to clients.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of statutory accounts, tax returns, and other compliance-related documents.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Part or nearly / newly ACA / ACCA qualified.
• Proven experience in a similar role, managing a client portfolio with an accountancy practice.
• Recent experience working for a UK accountancy practice is essential.
• Experience preparing year end accounts is essential.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting.
