Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher of Health & Social Care to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis. The successful candidate must be able to deliver high-quality teaching across a range of qualifications and levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach BTEC National in Health and Social Care (Level 3) and A-Level Psychology (AQA).
- Potential to teach BTEC Tech Award in Health and Social Care (Level 1/2) and GCSE Psychology.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing support and intervention where necessary.
- Contribute to curriculum development and ensure lessons align with exam board specifications.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching BTEC National in Health and Social Care (Level 3) and A-Level Psychology (AQA).
- Additional experience in delivering BTEC Tech Award (Level 1/2) and GCSE Psychology is desirable.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- This role is not suitable for ECTs (NQTs).
