Role Overview:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced SEN Tutor to join our team in Banbury. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people with SEN, including those with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other learning challenges.
You will work one-on-one with students, delivering bespoke tutoring sessions that cater to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, individualized tutoring sessions for students with a variety of SEN conditions.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit each student’s learning style and needs.
- Assess and track student progress, adjusting support strategies to maximize learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to develop and maintain individualized learning plans.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that boosts student confidence and self-esteem.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain open communication with families.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with children and young people with SEN, either in a tutoring, teaching, or support role.
- Knowledge of various SEN conditions and effective teaching strategies tailored to these needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to helping students succeed.
- Relevant qualifications in education, SEN, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
