We endeavour to utilise each teacher's specialism and offer the opportunity to teach A level in our sixth form centre for the right candidate.

An opportunity has arisen for you to join our highly focused, dedicated staff in the role of Teacher of Science. Teaching across key stages 3,4 and 5 we are looking for an excellent practitioner who can deliver innovative and creative lessons which challenge and engage students to progress academically and develop personally during their time at the academy.

What is it like to work as a Teacher of Science at The Holgate Academy?

Being able to develop and improve as a teacher has always been a driving force for me and The Holgate Academy provides an excellent CPD programme to enable me to progress and develop.

Our students are the reason that I aim to try and do my very best as a teacher every day. We have some amazing students here at Holgate. The science faculty endeavour to show students that we care about them and we take the time to build positive relationships with the students, which we feel in turn helps to promote the students’ academic growth.

One of the very best things about our Science faculty here at Holgate though is the relationships we have developed with each other. Here, I have made lifelong friends and we are all super supportive of each other.
