Production Operative
Pertemps Stoke are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Production Operative to join our client’s team in Newcastle-under-Lyme. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in wire harness assembly and electromechanical products
Key Responsibilities of this production operative role:
- Cutting and stripping wires to specified lengths
- Crimping and soldering of terminations
- Handling and application of electronic components in the assembly process
- Use of heat shrink products and associated adhesives for insulation and protection
- Reading and interpreting production drawings and technical documentation for wire harnesses and electromechanical products
- Following documented build procedures with precision and attention to detail
Essential Skills & Experience for this production operative role:
- Previous experience in wire harness assembly or electromechanical product manufacturing
- Proficient in crimping and soldering techniques
- Ability to work with heat shrink products and adhesives
- Strong understanding of production drawings and ability to work to detailed build procedures
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
Details of this production operative role:
- Hourly rate: £11.44
- Monday to Thursday 8:00-16:30 Friday 8:00-12:30
- Free onsite parking
- A supportive and friendly work environment
- Temporary ongoing position
