As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special needs and providing them with the necessary assistance to reach their full potential.
Collaborate with teachers and other education professionals to create and implement effective learning plans
Assist in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Support students in accessing the curriculum and participate in classroom activities
Help develop and implement behavior management plans as needed
Utilize appropriate teaching techniques and resources to aid student learning
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as necessary
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students
Knowledge of different learning styles and techniques
Understanding of various special educational needs and relevant support strategies
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Excellent organizational and time management skills

As an SEN TA, you will work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other education professionals to develop and implement individualised education plans for students with special needs. You will provide classroom support, offer one-on-one assistance, and create a safe and inclusive learning environment.Additionally, you will facilitate student engagement, monitor progress, and provide feedback to teachers and parents.

Requirements
Previous experience working with students with special educational needs either in a school or care settingStrong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills
