Role: Care Management Trainee
Location: Reigate, Redhill and nearby locations
Contract: Fixed Term Contract - 2 years
Salary: £24,500 per annum for 37.5 hours per week

Hours: 37.5 hours per week worked on a shift basis including weekends and evenings

The fast-track into management programmes offers candidates:

A two-year programme with an enhanced induction into social care and four 6-month placements
A salary of £24,500 per year
A professional qualification – you will complete a Level 5 Diploma in Adult Health and Social Care. Your course costs will be covered, and you will be given paid study leave.
A structured career pathway into management with a gradual increase in responsibilities over the two-year programme
A guaranteed interview for a Management position upon completing of the programme

We are looking for candidates who have:

The ability to commit to a demanding fast-track programme
Care experience, or leadership experience and transferable skills from other sectors
The ability to complete a higher education qualification – a Level 5 Diploma is at the equivalent level of a first year undergraduate degree
The right to work in the UK and have been living in the UK longer than 3 years

GCSE / O-Level pass grades in Maths and English that have been obtained in the UK

Key Responsibilities

You will support adults with diverse care needs, focusing on fostering motivation and aspirations for fulfilling lives. Your work will emphasize a person-centred approach, collaborating with individuals who use our services to meet their needs.

This includes supporting vocational learning, employment, developing new skills for independence, and promoting overall health and wellbeing.

You’ll also help individuals build and maintain friendships, relationships, and community connections, while offering behavioural support and functional development to enhance their independence.

In addition, you'll actively engage in the learning pathway, collaborating with colleagues and attending course sessions and monthly workshops designed to equip you with essential leadership skills.
