We have an amazing opportunity as a HR Admin based in Sale Manchester. This role is a temporary contract for 12 months, working full time Monday - Friday 8.30-4.30pm. You dont need any experience within HR, and this is a great opportunity for someone looking for development within this role.

The business could look at permanent employment at the end of the contract and if so, would be happy to support this person with any qualifications they would like to pursue, for example: CIPD HR Courses.

Your main duties will be supporting the HR Manager, managing internal relationships, expectations, policies and health and safety inspections.

What will you be doing as a HR Administrator?
  • Dealing with various HR queries throughout the business
  • Coordinating the appointment process for successful applicants
  • Monitoring staff turnover, retention and other key recruitment metrics
  • Support the HR Manager with various investigations, including grievance and disciplinary
  • Managing staff relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they may have and manage their expectations
  • Updating HR policies in line with current legislations and informing staff about changes
  • Carry out risk assessments and consider how risk may be reduced
  • Carry out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented
  • Ensure working practices are safe and comply with legislation
  • Prepare health and safety strategies and develop internal policy
  • Keep records of inspection findings and produce reports that suggest improvements
  • Record incidents and accidents and produce statistics for managers
  • Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments
  • Managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
  • Control activities like parking space allocation and waste disposal

We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous administrative experience
  • Great communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly organised and able to work well in a busy and reactive role
  • Must have excellent prioritisation and time management skills
  • A passion to develop within HR, and a willingness to learn
  • Able to work in a small team
  • Must have experience using of Microsoft Packages including Excel, Outlook, Word and ideally PowerPoint
