Our Client is seeking skilled lawyers with the ambition to assume leadership roles as a Heads of Department, and Director, helping shape the future of the firm.This role requires a combination of legal expertise, business acumen, and a forward-thinking approach to client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee criminal defence cases, ensuring quality representation and client satisfaction
Lead and supervise team members, providing support and fostering a positive work environment
Contribute to business development by expanding client relationships and the firm’s presence
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory standards within the team
Play a role in strategic decisions alongside Directors, driving growth and efficiency within the firm
Requirements:
Experienced Criminal Solicitor with a track record of managing independent caseloads
Strong business acumen, familiarity with modern technology, and creative approaches to client relations
Demonstrated leadership ability with a passion for mentoring and developing team members
Commitment to the Criminal Justice System and a positive outlook for the future of Criminal Law
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, along with resilience in high-pressure situations
Benefits:
Competitive salary of £80,000 – £100,000, based on experience
28 days annual leave, plus an additional day for each year of service
