Forklift Truck Driver/FLT Operative
Location: Sheerness, ME12
Pay Rate: £12.25 per hour
Access to own vehicle preferred due to site location.
Working Hours:
- 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Position Overview:
McGinley Supports Services is seeking experienced Forklift Truck Drivers / FLT Operatives to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of cargo within our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Forklifts to transport cargo efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers safely.
- Stack and organise pallets and other items within the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who is:
- Safety-Focused: Always health and safety conscious
- Trained: Has Manual Handling, Slinger Signaller and Working at Height training
- Team Player: Committed to completing work safely and on time, with a flexible approach to tasks
- Test-Ready: Able to passport-specific tests, including drug and alcohol testing
- Weather-Resilient: Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
MUST HAVE:
- Recent experience driving a Forklift Truck (Reach or Counterbalance) with NPORS/RTITB/ITSAR certification.
- Training in COSHH and Manual Handling is essential.
- Strong commitment to safety and operational efficiency.
