Buyer / Stock Controller
Undisclosed Company Mansfield
Manpower are currently recruiting for a Buyer / Stock Controller for our client based in the Mansfield area who manufacture doors and windows.
This is a full time permanent position working 40 hours per week.
You will be responsible for taking control of all purchasing and stock control across all components. Monthly stock control, liaising with the stores department and technical lead.
Implementing change.
Liaising with existing suppliers , negotiating best deals and margins, pricing and the ability to build good business relationships is key.
Full training on products will be given.
Key responsibilities include- Material Planning
- Production Planning / Control
- Inventory Management
- Supplier Scheduling
- Demand Planning
- Sending purchase orders to suppliers & following up to update on lead times
- Overseeing all paperwork & ensuring procedures are adhered to for all purchases
- Responsible for reconciling stock & performing stock takes
- Updating other areas of the business on the purchase status of orders
- IT
