We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a thriving and high-performing secondary school for students aged 11-19. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and contribute to a dynamic school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential opportunities to teach KS5.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential, fostering a love for literature and language.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support a diverse range of learners.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive school environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS, a PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have proven experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and an ability to deliver lessons in an engaging and accessible way.
- Possess excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and challenge students.
- Be eligible to work in the UK.
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the update service.
