Skills & Experience:
Must be experienced in using the inhouse system BarTec.Must be experienced in the use of Microsoft office.
Have previous experience in a similar role.
Must have experience of working in a traffic office
What's involved with this role: We are seeking an experienced Team Leader for the Planning & Waste Department to lead and motivate the team, ensuring efficient service delivery. You will oversee performance, provide guidance, and ensure projects are completed to high standards, supporting the department's goals and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
Work closely with the Trade Team Leader to schedule work, agree on appointments with customers, and coordinate follow-on jobs.Regularly monitor all resources to identify opportunities to increase productivity and service standards. To provide technical and innovative solutions to meet the needs of a modern and progressive Waste Service.
Lead and manage the Service Improvement Officer, overseeing the production of reports and analysis, interpreting data, and offering actionable solutions.
Assist in the monitoring, management and review of Health and Safety in the Section and across all aspects of the service, including maintenance of risk registers and safe systems of work as appropriate to ensure that health and safety and working procedures are within current and anticipated legislation/guidance and promote best industry practice.
Work with the Waste Collection Operational Team in order to implement necessary improvements across the service.
