Warehouse Operative
We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a full time Warehouse Operative in West Hallam Ilkeston, DE7 6HE.
Your pay rate and shifts as a full time Warehouse Operative:
- You will be paid between £11.44 and £12.30 per hour depending on the shift.
- Rotational shift Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00, rotating weekly between the AM and PM shift. Additionally, you will be expected to work every second Sunday - £12.30p/h
- 12:30 - 20:30 Sunday only (1 day per week) - £11.87p/h - ideal for students
- 08:00 - 16:00 Monday - Friday, £11.87 p/h
- 09:30 - 14:30 Monday-Friday, £11.44 p/h
Duties as a Warehouse Operative:
- Picking and Packing items ready for distribution
- Using a handheld scanner to sort items
- Boxing items on a line/station and rework area
- Manual Lifting involved (up to 23 KG)
- Unloading & Loading containers
- Wrapping and Unwrapping Pallets
- Adhering to and upholding strict Health and Safety standards
- Ensuring the warehouse is always clean

What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
- For a candidate to be suitable for placement they would have to have their own reliable transport to reach the work location as there is limited public transport/bus links by the job location
- Willing to handle Alcohol, for example, wine bottles
- Good level of communication
- Can adhere to and uphold strict Health and Safety standards
- PPE is required, but we can provide this
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must already have and hold a legal status to work in the UK
