Construction Manager

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee multiple rail structures projects across the central belt of Scotland

• Manage the construction team including supervisors and engineers
• Ensure plant tools and resources are booked to support delivery

• Review designs to confirm constructability within site constraints
• Prepare detailed programmes of work (any format) and liaise with planners to maintain the critical path
• Reprogramme works as required to meet deadlines
• Uphold the highest health safety and environmental standards
• Maintain quality standards ensuring remedial actions where needed
• Ensure valid inspection and test plans are in place for all works
• Keep all required documentation on site for ongoing activities

• Proven rail sector experience
• Strong stakeholder management skills (e g councils subcontractors third parties)
• Solid understanding of SHEQ requirements and current legislation
• Contractual knowledge and awareness
• Experience attending management meetings and delivering progress reviews
